we have to cover the floor with drop ceiling, make sure is clean around the area, cut the drywall area in the ceiling, measure it to cut new drywall half inch and install drywall in the spot. then put spackle paste and apply paper tape then spackle paste, fast and easy , wait for a little bit then apply another coat, dry the area with heater and shave it with your spackle knife and apply thin layer of spackle very thin. sand light and that's it.
